How to blur your background or apply a background image

Like Zoom, Google Meet gives you the ability to apply an image as your background or blur your background. 

If you would like to apply a background blur or image before the meeting starts, click on the Backgrounds and Effects button at the bottom right of your image preview.

Select the blur amount or background you would like to use from the menu on the right. Note: some backgrounds have gentle animation.
