Google workspace is Willamette's standard web-based productivity suite. It includes tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms.

Accounts

All Willamette users are assigned a Google Workspace account, including an email address in the "willamette.edu" domain. A university-provided Google Workspace account will be created for you when you create your Willamette network account, and will remain active as long as your network account is active.

Password Changes

Google Workspace account passwords cannot be changed through the Google website. Instead, they are linked to Willamette network accounts: changing your Willamette network account password will update your Google Workspace account password to match

Data Retention

Google Workspace account data is retained for one year after an account is deactivated, and is then deleted.
